Overview

The art of Medicine has evolved from an intuitive base built on a logical framework to a techno-logical base that accepts or embraces intuitive frameworks but does not rely on them. The understanding of medicine, disease and wellness and their complex underpinnings is evolving rapidly as search and research makes great strides. Medical Education has to keep pace with these advancements and what is considered appropriate one year may no longer be appropriate practices of care the next year!

Education, for the learner and the learned, is no longer limited by time, distance or space or a face-to-face interaction. Knowledge is often acquired in an impersonal manner as technology allows one to access information at the stroke of a keyboard!

We hope to harness medical expertise worldwide and to provide a platform for the learner and the learned to share knowledge and work towards improving human health care paradigms and algorithms.The site is designed as open source evidence based medical educational resource that explores the complex dynamics of individuals, societies, disease, wellness, ethics, social, developmental and political realities and the environment
